Quality ingredients and tastes good
I’ve searched for low carb nutrition bars with simple and quality ingredients and this one is the only one I’ve found without a lot of fillers and inflammatory oils. It taste good enough for a snack or if on low carb regimen it could be dessert! The only ingredient that I don’t like is “natural flavors” and I hope in the future Perfect Keto will leave it out. But for now I think it’s the best nutrition bar on the market.

Despite good reviews, completely inedible.
I'm not sure why, but these bars were completely inedible for me. I've got probably 40+ different kinds of keto bars, protein bars, and other snacks in this category, and to be honest this is the only one that tastes absolutely abhorrent. The texture is grainy and sandy, and the flavor is VERY artificial. These taste SO bad that I'm honestly worried that my box may have gone rancid. I had my two roommates try them as well, and both immediately spit them out. My box is well within the sell-by date, and the wrappers on all the bars have no sign of heat damage or punctures, so I'm led to believe that perhaps it really is the intended flavor. This is also perplexing because of the thousands of reviews that say these taste great. Also, I am fully aware that this is a "health" food, and having been on another keto diet cycle for a few weeks now, I know that most keto food doesn't taste great. But I'm not comparing these bars to like a Snicker's bar, my stale old Quest bars taste like a slice of heaven compared to these bars. Unfortunately, I won't be buying these again just to make sure I didn't get a bad batch due to their high cost. If they tasted bad, I'd be alright with it...I'd still eat the whole box even if they tasted bad. But these bars are, to me, not even edible.

Decent Low Carb Snack Bar - but inconsistent
Its difficult to find low carb / Keto snack bars that taste decent, and these (IMHO) are overpriced for what they are but are OK as snack. They are chalky and greasy, but they taste is good and kinda grow on you the more you eat them. The only issue (other than expensive price) that I have is that the bar itself is inconsistent and the product separates and then re-coagulates during storage and shipping. I suspect that it's in a high heat warehouse, melts, and then reforms itself during shipping. Anyway, I continue to buy them because the fit my diet. I think that the vendor could probably figure something out so that they are not a mess when they show up at the buyers house. Picture attached.

A bit of a headscratcher
So, I bought these because I read the company’s founders’ book. The book was great, and quite a bit more scientific than diet-fad-ish. It taught me to do a cleaner keto, to avoid sugar alcohols and low-carb sweeteners, count total carbs instead of net carbs, eat only “real” foods I can pronounce, and avoid all vegetable oils like the plague. In the book, they talk pretty extensively about how their company makes bars and supplements for keto because so much of the stuff out there is just high-priced garbage. (Agreed.)These show up, and lo-and-behold, they’ve got 11 total carbs for a bar the size of a slightly-larger fig newton, so much stevia in them dentists within ten miles instinctually perked up like lions on the Serengeti, a bunch of stuff I can’t pronounce and have no idea what it’s there for, and it has sunflower lecithin (aka, oil). So much for that whole, ‘only accept oils from things that are naturally oily like coconuts and olives’ and ‘avoid cheap oils like the plague.’ I’m sure the company’s founders have wonderful rationales for all this, but it seems rather to go against their own rules. I don’t know. Maybe it’s a packaging issue and they should explain it better on the label?Oh yeah, and they taste pretty gross. No almond flavor, no chocolate flavor, just chemical sweetness.EDIT: so, I tried the other flavors, and they’re good. I think the almond butter brownie ones just aren’t. I also think Amazon probably mishandles them (think letting them melt and resolidify multiple times), because the weird and unappetizing texture—rock hard lump sitting in a pool of oil—isn’t intentional.

Healthy, nutritious but initially slightly salty
I am not on a keto diet so I cannot comment on the effects the bar has on ketosis. However, I can comment on how the bar looks and feels and how it tastes.1. Look'n'feel: Packaging looks premium and is extremely easy to open and close. Is it weird to love how easy and perfectly the bar opens? It is so easy to take it out of its wrapping and put it back into it in case only half of the bar is eaten. I am often frustrated by how difficult it is to open other snacks nicely. For example, I don't think I have ever opened a Cliff bar smoothly and evenly on both sides. With this keto bar the packaging itself is a perfect 5 out of 5 stars!2. Consistency: Ok, I have to admit, the first time I tried it, I would have probably given it 4 stars for consistency and 2 stars for taste. The reason is that I was initially surprised by the salty after taste. Now, after eating a whole box of those over the past month, I would give the consistency 5 stars and the taste maybe 4 stars. I really enjoy the consistency now because there aren't any hard pieces in the bar (many other bars have very hard nuts for example that can hurt my gums). It feels easy and smooth to chew. Many other bars like the KIND bars have hard and sometimes sharp nuts that can lead to inflammation of my gums. None of that with the keto bar.Taste: As I mentioned 4 stars is what I would give the taste. It is because I haven't still fully gotten over the weirdly salty aftertaste of the bar. That being said, while the bar doesn't taste perfectly delicious, it is still for the most part a very good tasting bar. Moreover, I feel satisfied and fulfilled after eating the bar. It doesn't cause a sugar-rush that many other bars do which just makes me want to eat more.Overall I would give the bar 4-4.5 stars. I think I will make this my go to snack in future. It feels healthy, doesn't cause inflammation and doesn't cause a sugar high either.
