Bulky earpiece, ok sound, but fantastic battery life and connection
UPDATE***I enjoyed these earbuds, but by November one of the earbuds stopped working. I tried cleaning out the earwax, which helped when one of the earbuds just got quieter, but no use. It's completely dead, no sound at all, which means a fault in a wire. Lowering it to 2 stars because they just lasted 7 months. For reviewing purposes I’ll be comparing these to BeatsX earbuds by Apple and some cheap no-name Bluetooth earbuds that were about $20 from Target.Sound: Eh. They fall between the two, as I would expect. The $20 buds are tinny and don’t make a proper seal in the ear. The Apple Beats sound pretty awesome with a very well balanced sound overall. I find these to be a little muddy in the low mid/bass ranges and too much bass overall without feeling a real “thud” from pop music. Not much crispness too them either. I’m honestly not that picky but they just noticeably do not sound as balanced as the beats. They also have a bit teensy but of noise, or crackle. It’s almost imperceptible but it just feels like they aren’t super clear. Then again, comparatively the beats are $100. Listenable for music, and totally fine for podcasts, but cannot compare to say, a $40 pair of decent over ear headphones.Construction: Well made, but the actual drivers/earpieces are way bigger than I expected. They extend another maybe 1/2” further out of my ear than the Beats. This is a bummer as one of the main things I use earbuds for is listening to things falling asleep. I definitely cannot lay against anything with these in. They are also just bulkier overall than both the beats and the cheap ones.Connection:No problems connecting and I’ve had very few issues with the playback hiccuping when my phone is in my jacket, which happens regularly with the $15 buds. Seems to be a solid Bluetooth connection.Battery Life: This is where these really shine. They have not run out on me yet. I use them for a few hours a day and usually I just eventually remember to plug them in every few days for a couple hours. Since I use them for sleep, it’s been great not worrying about the power running out on me in the middle of the night if I wake back up and need them. The battery on the beats had really declined and I was probably getting more like 6 hours from them. I would not be surprised if the advertised 16 hours on these was correct. One last small quibble: the lowest volume on these is still not super quiet. It’s a little loud for late night falling asleep even on “1”. Would not detract stars for this, but again it’s just a difference from other earbuds I’ve used. The bulkiness and the meh sound quality are not enough for me to return them at this price point. Ultimately the awesome battery life and good functionality mean these will be my go-to general earbuds for a while unless I decide to spring for $100 beats.

epic
I bought these in September of 2019. They sounded great and felt great the whole time. They always connected and had good range and charge life, and did I mention that they sounded great?Today, February 2021 they died. And they didn't die like those weak cheap headphones you buy on an endcap in a grocery store. These headphones, while turned off, the little lithium batteries started getting hot enough to burn my neck, and one ear started making a loud clicking noise. Just then I saw a Valkyrie appear, lift my headphones from my desk, and take take them away in glory and might. They lived great, and died great. I will always love SoundPeats.

Compared them to my Bose QC20
I was in search of wireless headphones and like most buyers my criteria hit all the major categories. I wanted decent battery life, sweat proof and stay in my ear while exercising, comfortable and have great sound quality. The SoundPEATS had strong reviews and were cheap. After a week of use here are my thoughts. The packaging was stellar for $27 wireless headphones. They paired with my iPhone XR Max in less than 10 seconds. The earbuds were comfortable and when seated properly in the ear they provide almost full noise cancelling. Here’s what surprised me. I own a pair of Bose Q20 in-ear noise cancelling headphones. These are $249 headphones that are invaluable to me when I want to work without out distraction. I was curious how the SoundPEATS held up to my Bose so I tested them on the same set of songs at the same volume levels. The sound quality of the SoundPEATS was comparable to the Bose. Don’t get me wrong, the Bose Q20 has actual noise cancelling technology along with active equalization and the Aware mode that allows you the hear what is going on around you. All great features I love but at one-tenth of the price SoundPEATS way over delivered. Now for the bonuses. These were supposed to be strictly exercise headphones so the microphone was that important. The microphone quality is so good and the headset so comfortable that I’ve been using them at my office for work calls. I should mention I’m a “call pacer” and sometime forget to the put the phone in my pocket. The Bluetooth signal reaches about 40 feet before I’m reminded to go back to my desk and get my phone.Battery life seems to be more than 16hrs but I’ve not been able to see if I get the full 20hrs as advertised. I can tell there is enough battery life to last the entire day and into to the night.Overall the are SoundPEATS rich in quality and features while being cheap on price. This was a great find.

I will never use another company besides SoundPEATS, wish there were more stars
There is this huge push for people to purchase earbuds that are brand name, aesthetically pleasing, trending, etc. I want a product that simply works. Period. SoundPEATS delivers exactly on what they advertise. These bluetooth headphones are so easy to pair, the magnetic ends make it so that there is no hassle when moving around. Sweat resistant! They last me at least, 2 to 3 days before I have to charge again, and I use them OFTEN. Phone calls, music, you name it. From what I am told, they do pick up on background noise, but the sound quality when others hear my voice is said to be clear and crisp. For the price, and as much as I use mine (they tend to break down based on my level of usage after about 6-8 months, maybe 9), I have no problem buying them again and again. For ME, Beats, Skullcandy, even Bose, all of them were no comparison to the sound quality of these buds. I love them and will continue to purchase them as long as they are available. Oh! The warranty deal is pretty sweet, too, if you take the time to register them on their separate website (all the info comes in the package).
