I don't do canning, but I needed a wide-mouth funnel to transfer my Epson Salts from the bag to a container that looks nicer in my bathroom. Yes, I know it sounds silly, but I don't have any room under the sink to hide the bag, and I just like my bathroom to look nice.Anyway, the funnel mouth fit over the container, and the salt flowed in easily. I was very happy with it because, in the past, I've spilled that stuff trying to pour it in, and then I had to clean it up. What I didn't like was having to buy two of them, because I only needed one. I just don't like being forced to buy more than I need.The funnels are very substantial in weight, unlike some cheaper ones I've had in the past, so I see these lasting me a very long time, and I recommend them.

They are good for getting away from using plastic funnels and strainers. They work, as advertised. I with they were made in the U.S.A. I couldn't find any that were...

I bought these for my mother who is picky when it comes to kitchen items. These funnels are industrial quality and well made, however it's a bit disappointing that these don't nest within each other, so stacking them/condensing them does not work. The included strainer attachments are nice. They serve their purpose well, I just wish they didn't have to take up so much space when not in use.

I use a LOT of liquids and powders in the kitchen, creating my own rubs, marinades for my BBQ. I always wind up making a mess, as I'm trying to transfer the stuff from one container to another. Not any more. This 6 piece set is so much neater and cleaner. And, the strainers just pop out. So, I don't have to use them if I don't need them. The quality of the materials and construction of these funnels is top notch. I know I'll have them around for a long time. Good purchase. Five stars.

I really like these funnels. I use them for filling bottles for oil in the kitchen, so appreciate the smaller and straighter nozzle end. Small enough to fit into spice jars when filling. The side handle allows me to hold the funnel steady while pouring - you'll be surprised how handy that is. Like the filters that snap into the funnels as well.I much prefer using metal to plastic funnels. Plastic is hard to ever really get clean when used for oil. And can't be used on hot oil.I use these to strain warm (not hot) oil from deep frying into a container for re-use or recycle. The filters are pretty fine, so work well but you have to pour slow. Also good for training infused oils like spicy chile oil.Was debating on 4 or 5 stars, went for 5.Only improvement would be a smoother transition from the funnel body to the nozzle. I suppose this is required for the filter, but this lip catches a little bit of the spices or oil. Not a big concern, just not quite perfect.

Cannot believe I was using a regular funnel for as long as I was. I put as many spices and flours into mason jars as possible because I enjoy the aesthetic of all matching glass and no boxes! I would put granola bars into jars if possible. Jar everything! You could probably fit a granola bar into the mouth of these funnels. These perfectly smooth wide mouthed babies latch perfectly onto the jar and I never worry about any slipping or spilling. They are easy to clean and due to the smoothness of the steel, most flours, powders, etc. are easily washed off with a simple rinse. Hell yeah.

Huge. So don’t be like me and pay attention to the dimensions of each funnel!! I thought for sure the smallest one would be smaller, so that it could be inserted into bottles. Nope, too large for most bottles. However, the quality is excellent, and I will surely use them often in my kitchen for other things. Great to have.

Thought I was ordering a funnel for large mouth canning jars. Looks like I missed the photo with actual dimensions. Product is as stated in the description. Both funnels have sharp edges around the upper outer edge, the outfeed part and the teacup style handles. Be careful if you hand wash these or let children use them. The three star rating is because of that quality issue. They should come from the factory with the edges polished to prevent injuries. Two photos have a large and small canning ring over the larger funnel to demonstrate how they may fit those jars. The other two photos actual measurements in inches. The larger funnel could be used for small mouth canning jars but not for the large mouth jars. The opening of the funnel is too small to let full size vegetables/items pass though. They have been found useful for filling smaller jars with liquids, herbs, spices and other dry goods. If you're looking for a funnel that will fit smaller jars these might work for you. Make sure you check the measurements of your own jars and the product before you buy.
