good quality stencil
good quality stencil - easy to use (do a couple of practice ones first), washable and easy to keep reusing. The intricate pattern in this one does need a bit of care. I did a whole wall - took me ages. At the time, I wished I had got a bigger stencil but I'm really pleased with the resulting effect. btw, I found that a make up sponge was the quickest way to get good results (better than a stipple brush).

love this
Unlike many stencils i have tried before this one actually is reusable. Made from thick durable plastic. I have already used it loads and will be buying more in the future.

nice stencil
its a very nice and sturdy stencil. Really lovely pattern, looks amazing on the wall. Should be washed with care so as to not damage the stencil.

Anybody wanting to get the Damask look without shelling out ...
Anybody wanting to get the Damask look without shelling out on expensive wallpaper would be interested in this idea of stencilling. It allows you to have various colours in different rooms and the only cost is the stencil, paint and rollers.

stencils
I bought this because I wanted a challenge, definitely got that. I've never stenciled before and decided to go with a different design to the one in the picture, so it would be easier. I did one feature wall, took me 2 days and it is a pain.I think the best thing to do is mark all the places you're going to place the stencil, with a pencil, first. I found that I didn't know where I was going to place the stencil next and had to wait for parts to dry before moving on. Buy some blue mammoth tape and tape all the edges around the sockets, skirting, ceiling and side walls. With this stencil, the adhesive spray didn't work, for me. So I bought masking tape from pound land,to keep it in place, because it's cheap and didn't rip my paint off. I laid down an old bed throw and when my stencil needed cleaning, I lay it wet side down on part of the throw and pressed over it with the edges. I stencilled the inside first and left the edges for last.Seriously don't recommend you doing it for a long period, if you have back problems. I couldn't walk for the rest of the night and I'm only 20.
