GOOD STUFF
This book was used, but it was super cheap and in perfect condition! And it delivered sooner than expected! This reminds me, I'm going to finish reading this now!

i recommend this book versus the one book "talking". seems like a condensed version of his autobiography, i like it a lot. good book, good quality, shipped with the other book

It's Marilyn Manson....
This is a great book to read if you love Marilyn Manson. It was the first one I read, but to be honest... not the best.

This book has facts, but it isn't what I expected at all. I was kind of disappointed; I wanted to know more about the band and their lives, this book just tells more about when the music was produced and what the songs meant. It's an okay read, but not what I wanted.

just as great as mansons
i thought, since i was getting the autobiography, that there was no way i needed to have 2 manson books. but i saw a review that said, 'a great gap-filler!' and even though marilyns book was very satisfying, i decided i would take a chance. this book is really great, it has a lot of mansons very own quotes, and even though berkowitz is somewhat harsh, it is understandable he feels that way. it was very well written and includes trivial, yet wonderful little goods like the fact that brian warner favors calvin klein boxer briefs & the 9 satanic statements. a few nice photos and interviews. this is mostly about marilyn manson the band, not just mm the persona, or mm the person for that matter.

Meh...
I enjoy MM's music, and I'll probably buy any book about him, but this book wasn't worth the money. There were some interesting little tid-bits of information here and there, but it read like a book report. I don't think the author ever actually spoke to Manson. It has a lot of periphery information about other band members and people around Manson and if you are willing to wade through it I suppose it's a good buy for the info.I will keep the book in my library, but it wasn't as well written as the other authorized biography.

Great book on Marilyn Manson's life!
A wonderful book on one of the world's biggest rock stars- from childhood to stardom. If you're a Manson fan, you MUST read this book!

Unless you are over the top fan, save your 3 hours and money
If only 10% of what he wrote in here is true he needs to be arrested. The things that he claims went on in this book with some of the woman, I am pretty sure he could (and should be) be incarcerated. And one other thing, if you admit to and enjoy placing same sex genitals in your personal "space", I am pretty sure that makes you quite possibly "not heterosexual" and he is very adamant about saying that he is not gay. Ok, whatever, denial is all part of his deep rooted sexual identity problems that are most likely all related to some form of abuse or just plane sick, but don't disrespect the gay community by acting like it is no big deal.Bottom line, he really seems to be a VERY bad person on a moral level, again pretty sure this was written after certain statue of limitations had come and gone, other wise he would be in jail and rightfully so (or he is just fabricating sick and evil things, either way he is a disgusting person). The one thing I wanted to read more about was the musical part of the rise to his success, he barely grazed that aspect, was more interested in shocking with disgusting sex antidotes that went beyond normal groupie stuff, just demoralizing fluff that he evidently feels no shame nor guilt (some of those woman surly are still in therapy as a result of their interactions with him).Save your time and money unless you like to feel sick.
