Dental Glass Ionomer Luting Cement Crown

My 3-teeth dental bridge came loose while visiting London. NHS was too busy and local dentists wanted from 120 to 200 Pounds Sterling to re-attach it. So, I explored possibilities and instead of going to a dentist, I bought 'Dental Glass Ionomer Luting Cement Crown' and a pair of dental tweezers.After carefully scraping off the residue of old cement inside the crowns, I rehearsed putting the bridge back on without adding the mixture. Trying a few times to place it just right, I then added the mixture and quickly re-cemented the dental bridge by biting on it for a few minutes. I have flossed and brushed my teeth a few times after the re-cementing. Nothing unusual. It has been 18 hours and so far so good. It looks very solid.Less that 20 pounds spent and a job well done! The mixing of one part powder to two parts liquid is supposed to be on sheets of supplied paper but that was a bit messy and wasteful. Still, I am satisfied and the shipment came the day after I ordered.

I was sceptical this would work. I had an enamel crown that had come off in the front row teeth. It was a clean break so the crown was fully intact and just needed to be stuck back on. I used this product 24 hours ago and the crown has stuck back on, firmly and confidently in place. Follow the instructions carefully, using the right amount of quantities. Wiggle the crown back in place once the cement is in place to ensure you get full coverage. Be careful not to use too much. Apply the crown with a good amount of pressure and do t each or drink on it for at least an hour. I put it in after I finished eating and drinking for the evening. It is absolutely dentist strength and fingers crossed it remains firmly in place for sometime. No need to go to the dentist for emergency appointment and the associated costs. Perfect smile back in place!

After wasting my time with temporary polygrip denture stuff I tried this and it worked a treat. My crown has now been secure for 18 months despite the pressure of using retainers for teeth alignment. I'm angry with dentists that get trained up and then desert NHS taxpayers to money-grab so it feels doubly satisfying to cope without their charges.

While it has a silver sticker on the box (which was easy to peel off) there is no date given (someone else’s pic has a date on the box) and both labels were coming off and not stuck on properly. Also the lid for the powder has no logo on the top like what is shown in the description pictures. As this is for the inside of my mouth I do not want to risk it so will request a return. This was shipped from abroad so had a long delivery estimate.

I used this during lockdown to secure my implant that fell out. It's still in there after 3 years. I wasted so much money on getting the dentist to do it and going back after a few weeks or months again because it didn't stay in place. It was easy to apply, managed at first try.

This stuff has saved me hundreds of pounds over the years, my bridge has very little to adhere but this lutin holds it better than what my private dentist uses. Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong, there is a short window for the adhesive to go off so have everything prepared before hand. Even my dentist commented it's effectiveness. So happy I can smile with out a big gap and thanks for the speedy delivery.

Very complex Jargon full instructions, you are clearly supposed to be a Dentist to understand this product, I tested various ways of making it up but it mainly created a very dry mix that broke down quickly. NOT RECOMMENDED

I waited a while to leave this review as I wanted to see how 'permanent' this was. I can report it is as good as what the dentist uses (and according to Bob Mortimer it's Fuji 9). A bit of good advice I was given was use a bit of chewing gum to gauge how much you need to fill. That was priceless as I did this and got the amount of cement needed perfectly. This stuff is solid and very, very permanent. I was a bit nervous as I realised that if I got it wrong, how the hell would I get it out! But all was well and it has worked superbly. Highly recommend.
