Was surprised how well this unit worked. I only need a circular saw for occasional project around the house etc. I had an old Black and Decker corded unit that I finally burned out after more than ten years of use but I found this one to be very useful and it seems to hold a charge. Really couldn't be happier.

This 20V SKIL cordless saw is very good. It has an excellent design and the build quality is impressive for the price. It’s not the cheapest tool, but it’s also not too expensive, and the value you get is great. It feels solid, works smoothly, and is easy to handle. Overall, an excellent price-to-quality ratio. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Didn't know I needed this until I did! Love'n some battery powered tools. Works like a charm and no cord to get in the way. Cuts true.... Haven't used it but a few times - battery stays powered - I wanted it for plywood (140 t-blade) & 24 T cross-cut for 2 bys. Love it!

I used the saw today on a project making approximately 20 cuts on treated 2x4. This was my first time using a battery power tool and I was apprehensive about how it would work. I performed the job very well and the fit and finish of the tool was excellent. All the features worked as one would want. I highly recommend and for the price it seems like a very good deal. The only question left now is longevity.

The battery would not mount on the saw nor on the charger. Something about the pins on the battery was broken. The saw itself would spin up with another Skil battery that I had. So, an immediate return. I'm not sure whether this will ever see the light of day, but I'll write it anyway. I expected things listed as Prime to have some level of vetting. If it's junk, don't sell it as Prime. Or, at least, warn buyers that the item is frequently returned (which happens some time, but not in this case.) I've ordered six small power tools in the last few months, and this is the second one I've had to return. Bad luck for me, or poor quality control somewhere. I expected more from Skil. My worm drive "real" Skilsaw is a tank. Anyway, if it works for you, good for you. But don't be surprised if you have to take the time to pack it up again and schlep it out to the UPS store for a return.

Muy práctica por ser ligera y relativamente potente gracias a la batería de iones de litio, sin embargo solo la recomiendo para trabajos ligeros tablas de no más de 1 pulgada de grueso y eso haciendo el corte en al menos dos pasadas. Traté de cortar un listón de 4x4 pulgadas y fue demasiado aun cuando la profundidad del corte era aprox 1/3 del espesor despues del primer corte completo comenzó a perder potencia y se apagó. Ah y para los que apenas se inicien en carpintería los discos de esta son más pequeños que los de las alámbricas y tienen que ser para Skill, Bosch o Makita para asegurarse de la compatibilidad de la tuerca de seguridad.

So far so good. I am a small female and I wanted something that wouldn't be too heavy because my wrists and hands have become weaker from arthritis. After a lot of reading and comparison I chose this saw and very happy with it. It cuts nicely and is easy to handle for someone my size and strength. I don't have room anymore for my chop saw so got this as a replacement. Glad I did and definitely recommend it. I haven't done any 45° cuts yet but 90degree cuts are perfect. The battery seems to last a decent amount of time granted I don't use it for long stretches. Mostly use it for small projects and a few cuts at a time so it serves me well. Also after I've used it I always charge it back up because I don't want to run out in the middle of a project. So I'm not really sure how long it would last if you used it for an hour for example. It's not the fanciest saw or the best saw but it's well priced and I like it. Good for a person like myself. The only con I can think of is that it doesn't have a laser or light when it's running. But that wasn't a big deal for me so I got it anyway. Edit after 6 months Still happy battery has good life and no issues. Will be getting a 40 tooth blade for finer cuts but 24 has served quite well so far for small cuts.

excelente producto en relación al precio, ligero y preciso, corte tablón de 1"1/2 para probar y excelente no se forza para nada en corte transversal.

Very pleased with this purchase. The saw is light and easy to use. Runs a long time before the battery needs recharging.
