Techni Mobili Mesh Task Office Chair with Flip Up Arms. Color: Black, Mid-Back

It's wonderful. Perfect Height. Very comfortable. Roles around on carpet or hardwood floor just fine. I do a lot of sewing and this chair is perfect for this position I need to be in to do my sewing. Put the 2nd Techni Mesh Task Office Chair in my office. Perfect for the desk heights. I am very pleased with the price also. I am ordering 2 more for the family.Please make the the Allen Head Wrench longer or the M6x20 as long as the M6X30 screws. Not long enough to in Step 4 hardware M6X20-- D TO B. Thank you.

This is a very attractive-looking chair, and fairly comfortable. Everyone’s body shape and size is different, as are preferences, hence the differing opinions on comfort. I found the chair to be a good balance of relative comfort, looks, and price. It’s a cheap chair - we will see how it holds up.Fairly straightforward putting it together, though one imprtant screw would not go in all the way. The fabric on seat and arms is a bit rough, not ideal for sensitive skin. Flip-up arms is a big plus, as is good back support.

Easy to put together, took maybe 5 minutes out of the box. Overall, the chair is comfortable. The mesh back has good support and breathes really well, so the chair doesn't get hot or stuffy, and the style of the arms means I can sit in this chair cross-legged. This also means that there isn't anything to dig into your thighs, if that's a problem you experience with other chairs. The cushioned arms are a really nice touch - they aren't super plush or anything, but they offer nice support and you won't have hard plastic digging into your arms. The fact that they flip up means I save a ton of room by being able to push the chair all the way under my desk. I live in the smaller, second bedroom of a 2 bedroom apartment, so this chair would be great for a dorm or anyone who needs to save space. Also, the wheels roll pretty well on carpet - you may have to take your weight off the chair to get the wheels out from the grooves in the carpet if you've been sitting for awhile, but once they're out, the chair rolls just fine.The only reason I'm giving this chair 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was looking for a chair specifically with a metal base, and the photos and product description both said this chair had a metal base at the time I purchased it. The photos and description have since been changed, and the chair I received has a plastic base. Everything else about the chair is the same and returning it would be a hassle, so I'm not too torn up about it, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

First thing I discovered while assembling this chair was to not follow the assembly order indicated in the instructions. I went from step 1 to step 3, and once the screws attaching the arms to the seat were about half seated , I left them slightly loose (attached arms, incidentally, by laying the seat bottom on my desk, bottom up). I then also attached the mounting base to the seat bottom at this time. Then I placed the seat (with arms loosely attached) on the base & gas lift cylinder assembly, right side up, on the floor, and then proceeded to attach the mesh back to the arms and tightened them up and inserted the covers (which aren't shown on Amazons pic of the chair for some reason). Lastly, I tightened the 4 arm attaching screws on the bottom of the chair, and all was good in paradise. By leaving the screws slightly loose when attaching the arms to the chair bottom, you are able to move the arms into position for easier installation of the screws that hold the back to the arms. Just don't forget go over each screw after assembly to be sure that you did not leave any loose by accident. p.s. The 4 flat black washers go onto the screws that attach the arms to the seat bottom with the longest screws. If you forget to install those washers, the arms and back will, in short order, fall off, or rather, break off when the screw heads pull right through the over sized holes on the bottoms of the arms where that attach to the seat bottom. Once assembled. it feels like a sturdy, comfortable chair that actually fits under my desk (arms up), instead of the fixed arms of the chair it replaced constantly dragging on the bottom of the center drawer, or being adjusted too low.

- The curve in the back of the chair is right in the middle of your back which makes it painful when you lean back, and uncomfortable. It's a a big default in the design of this chair.- The seat cushion, though looks fluffy, is very light, when you sit on the chair makes it flat feels as if you're sitting on the wood.I read lotta reviews on this chair, I ignored and still bought it, and I found myself writing a bad review.. would not recommend.

UPDATE (12/19/2019)I had to replace this chair (roughly after a year of daily use) because the padding for the arm rests were completely flattened and hard. The seat cushion was following suit; however, the back maintained it's firmness.Changing my Review from 4/5 to 3/5 because of the aforementioned.Ease of Assembly 8/10- Instructions were strange. They called the fasteners by alphabetic nomenclature in the instructions but on the fastener package they gave you the precise measurement of each type; it was really inconvenient.Comfortable 9/10- I'm 5'8" (178cm), 175lbs, broader shoulders. Sitting all the way back, my lumbar is completely supported, the seat reaches a few inches from the back of my knees, the arm rests aren't too high up, and the back reaches just below my trapezius. Seat is firm but cushiony. The chair can rock but it gives a clunking sound.Materials 8/10- seat cushion and arm rest cushions are a little rough, the mesh feels like it will wear out quickly if abused, the casters are above average, the gas piston is standard, and the hard ABS shell feels durable.This chair might not 'fit' everyone but for average sized people it is a bargain.8/10

Love the chair; it was easy to assemble - instructions are straight forward, just read everything carefully. Height and lumber support are adjustable; chair arms are easy to move up and out of the way; the wheels don't mark the floor. Time will show how wear and tear go.

En la descripcion no esta clara la funcion del respaldo. Hubiera preferido la version que tiene tilt-in space. Esta no lo tiene a diferencia de otras que si tienen un respaldo diferente en la region lumbar que permiten esa funcion. El que no lo tenga, hace que esta silla sea mas rigida y que los tornillos truenen.Compraria otra con tilt en el futuro y no esta. Lo demas, color, ruedas, partes y los brazos abatibles, estan bien. Por el precio, compraria una con tilt en el futuro.

This chair was very easy to put together, it took 2 people to hold things up but could definitely be done by one person. It's comfortable and good for daily computer use.

This chair is very comfortable, easy assembly and has a wide seat pan. This chair has a nice wide seat pan made for a larger person.,
