I have found that "rye chops" from different sellers come in different grades of coarseness, from truly cracked rye kernels to a kind of rye meal. This brand is a medium grade, which is perfect for the whole grain rye bread I make. I had a slight problem receiving my order (it was sent in a mailer that tore and arrived empty) but the seller replaced the produce quickly with no hassles.

Price was reasonable, top notch fresh and a great shelf life. Used to make rye porridge bread. Awesome recipe resulted in a very flavorful bread. Also used chops to make my own multigrain to add to sourdough bread. Will buy again

Use these to make traditional Pumpernickel bread, 100% rye and rye chops. Pricey, but if you want the real thing, this is a good way to go.

I like this product but expected more rye flavor. A little disappointed.

Would highly recommend to rye bread bakers. Adds a nice texture and flavor. I like the 3 pack since I can store them in the freezer.
