The neck cut out is a bit too shallow, it’s about a 16th of an inch thicker but doesn’t cause any problems.

These bodys are very well made the finish is amazing. They say The American Fender is the best well who am I to dispute that but blimey I've been playing the P bass for 50 odd years and mates these are extremely good..

Beautiful finish. I actually went breathless when I first saw it. I piece of alder too! Totes gorge, light enough weight doesn't matter to me when it comes to bass customers if you want a lighter instrument don't play bass. Fender neck fit flawlessly. Predrilled and routed just put it all together and play. Made in Ensenada then shipped to Santa Barbara then to you. Fux with these, I got a killer deal on this one (under 200:p

Using Fender parts makes a difference. US or Mexico doesn’t matter. Fender is consistent in my experience.
