Rocky Mountain All-Star Diaphragm Call

like any other diaphragm call, if you can use a diaphragm call then this will be good for you, if not buy one and practice alot, in you truck alone.

Nice all around sound. Can bugle plus cow and calf sounds, pretty versatile reed.

This is my first time using an elk call. I have always wanted to elk hunt and so I have begun preparations. I bought this and a primos. This one is easier to use but once I could do it on this one, I was able to work the primos as well. I think it sounds good but I have never called elk... Yet.

Practice with this call daily for about 3 months and it still is holding up. A little higher pitch than the raging bull diaphram but still makes a nice elk bugle!

A little harder to use than others of the line. Its effective, but you have to put a lot more air through this one.

would be good for a beginner. Easier to hit the lower notes for sure. It's mighty quiet and the tone isn't much to right home about. My triple reed sounds way better and is way louder but harder to get a good transition to the low notes. This is my first single reed and I'm sure they are all similar, very easy to use but not much volume. All in all it will work just fine with a tube

I purchased several diaphragms from RMHC and other companies this year, and this was my least favorite. For me, I found it difficult to place just right, and even when I did, I didn't love the cow sounds or the bull sounds. Plenty of good diaphragms out there, including from Rocky Mountain, but I would skip this one.

Works perfectly, maybe would have liked some instructions with it but plenty of videos on YouTube
