Spellbinders4 Metallic & Holographic Variety Pack Glimmer Hot Foil Roll, Multi

Every other time I have ordered orange hot foil, I received various shades of gold. But this one really is orange.

I like the Glimmer system because the foil is very reasonably priced, as well as working well for hot foiling. But did you know you could use up your scraps with double sided adhesive paper? Here I used a die cut, but you could also cut out images/words with a cricut or pair of scissors. Stick it to your paper, then take off the top layer and stick your scrap pieces onto the top sticky layer. I learned this with deco foil, but it works with this too. Haven't tried Glimmer with laser prints through the laminator, but wouldn't be surprised if that worked too!

I was going to return these, but after looking online I found that they work best when used under 300f. anything higher and its going to stick to everything including toner. I use these to make holo resin inserts. I was originally going to knock off stars but, after finding out how to use these with minimal issues, I changed my mind. If you’re going to get these, know that you need to set your temp to under 300 or do like I do and set your laminator to 3mil. Attaching a photo showing that you can get these to work with the lower temps.

Great foil. The sparkling foils gave no wow factors. But these work perfect with foil quill and are cheaper than foil quill.

I have a Gemini FoilPress and Spellbinders foils work so very well. As with all foils, a test piece is useful and I did increase the time by 5 seconds and my test was completely foiled. Other machines may not need the increase but, to decease the time.Beautiful colors!!!Will buy again...

Before buying this I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I have to say I am very disappointed in this product. I tanned it through my laminator twice like I would usually do and the foil stuck to all the card. I reduced the temperature to less than 300 because someone mentioned that it had to be less than that and it still did not come out right. Also the roll is very small it’s the right size for 5x7 cards but it doesn’t have much material. I bought the black color foil.

This foil is fine. I'm not sure if I still don't know exactly to use my machine properly but sometimes, the foil doesn't stick everywhere. Just a small problem though.
