Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Limited Edition (Nintendo Switch)

This is actually a very beautiful set. It should definitely be worth money in the future as a collectible. Hard to find and rare enough to increase in value over the years. It was only made in the UK and only a Limited amount of sets were created and sold, and thats a BIG plus when it comes to collectibles.

Like many people on here I also was fooled to think that I would be getting the switch console included with this bundle but nope. Actually not even the booklet everyone is also complaining about. I paid 400$ for a 60 dollar game, 9.99 GameCube controller adapter and 14.99 for the actual controller? Are you kidding me?.... This is utterly absurd and criminal to charge this price and call it an ultimate limited edition just because the box is fancy... also the price is severely gouged because older reviews are saying $120?

I used the controller for my fortnite and it worked until the man in the peely costume absolutely used hacks to snipe me from that tower and I snapped the controller in half

If I could give negative stars I would. Horrible description. Doesn’t state that it doesn’t come with a switch. Only comes with the game a GCC and the GC adapter which you can buy all separate for less than $100

This is an absolute scam! Thought it would include switch due to price, but they are very misleading. DO NOT BUY!!! Huge ripoff.

It’s not false advertising, they tell you exactly what your getting if you read carefully. It’s a collectors edition set, it’s going to be expensive.

Un gran producto

Gros fan de smash depuis mêlée je ne pouvait pas passer à côté de cette édition qui propose une manette GameCube et surtout le fameux adaptateur qui peut être acheté séparément mais a des prix indécent .. l'édition limitée vaut le coup surtout pour 130 euro quand on sait que le jeu plus la manette plus l'adaptateur valent encore plus chere séparément ( merci les spéculateurs) le jeu en lui même et juste une tuerie !! Des heure de jeu en solo encore plus en multijoueur j'avais pas rejouer a un smash avec autant de plaisir depuis brawl , smash 4 m'ayant grandement déçus . Le mode histoire de ultimate étant assez anecdotique les mode solo les plus intéressants resteront le tableau des esprits et le classique, ceux qui aime créé de stage trouveront leur bonheur avec la mise a jour gratuite qui a ajouté se mode . Après plus de 200h de jeu je ne me laisse pas .

Meine Produktrezension bezieht sich auf die Limited Edition als solches. Zum Spiel werde ich anschließend Informationen hinzu editieren, da ich dieses erst einmal ausführlich testen möchte.ZUM VERSAND:Die Limited Edition wurde in einem viel zu großen Karton geliefert, der wiederum nicht ausreichend ausgepolstert wurde. Hierdurch wurde die SSBU LE während des Transportes hin- und hergeschleudert, was zu Knicken und Dellen geführt hat.Amazon, das geht wesentlich besser. Ich frage mich, wieso man so ein riesiges Paket nimmt, da die LE in wesentlich kleinere Pakete passt. Wüde auch Verpackungsmaterial sparen, aber daran wurde ja leider sowieso gespart.Würde ich diese Edition jetzt nur zum Sammeln kaufen, würde ich mir das überlegen, ob ich das Risiko eingehe. Wer wert auf 100% Unversehrtheit legt, sollte hier aufpassen. Aber vielleicht war ich auch eine Ausnahme beim Versand. Trotzdem möchte ich das anmerken.ZUR COLLECTORS EDITION:Die Edition ist wirklich sehr gut und liebevoll gestaltet, wie man auf den beigefügten Fotos erkennen kann.Die Box außen zeigt das bekannte Banner mit allen Kämpfern auf der Vorderseite und hinten die Auswahlbilder der Charakter. Öffnet man die Box (hier ist anzumerken, dass das Siegel einfach zu entfernen ist und keine Kleberückstände hinterlassen hat oder Aufdruck mit abgerissen hätte) findet man auf der Innenseite des Deckels alle Auswahlbilder, was wirklich sehr gut gemacht ist.Die Items in der Box sind in zwei Lagen sortiert, wie ebenfalls auf den Fotos zu erkennen ist. Erst kommt das Spiel mittig, das vom Schriftlogo und dem Smash-Ball flankiert ist. Danach folgen in der nächsten Schicht der Controller und Adapter.Alles in allem finde ich, dass sich diese Edition definitive lohnt und komplett sein Geld wert ist. Wer den Controller und Adapter will, fährt hiermit wohl genau richtig. Aber auch so als Ergänzung ist beides sicher nicht verkehrt.ZUM SPIEL:Mein erster Eindruck nach einigen Spielstunden: WOW!Ich habe das letzte Mal Smash auf dem N64 gezockt (abgesehen von ein oder zwei Runden mal auf dem GameCube glaube ich bei Freunden), somit ist das jetzt gerade eine komplett neue Erfahrung für mich. Aber was das Entwicklerteam hier abgeliefert hat ist einfach nur umwerfend.Es kann einen aber auch etwas überfordern, habe ich das Gefühl. Ich wusste am Anfang so gar nicht, wo ich eigentlich anfangen soll und musste mich erst einmal durch alle Spielmodi etc. durchklicken um einen Überblick zu bekommen.Trotzdem ist es, nach einer kurzen Eingewöhnungsphase einfach nur umwerfend. Hier ein paar Punkte, die mir bisher so aufgefallen sind.POSITIV:- Die Grafik ist einfach umwerfend- Unzählige Charakter (ok, man kann sie zählen und es sind 74)- Unglaublich viele Stages- Über 900 SongsNEUTRAL:- Man muss fast alle Kämpfer freispielenNEGATIV:- Der Online-Modus ist wirklich nicht sonderlich gutEntgegen der oft angesprochenen Probleme im Online Modus, konnte ich bisher noch nicht so viele Probleme online feststellen. Allerdings spiele ich auch nicht ununterbrochen online, vielleicht hatte ich bisher einfach Glück.EDIT:Ich habe den Online-Modus nun etwas mehr getestet, jedenfalls wollte ich das. Der Modus hat wirklich Nachholbedarf. Wenn man nur zu zweit online spielt, hat er keine Probleme gemacht, aber sobald es 4 Spieler sind wird es richtig übel. Ich hatte Teilweise Lags von 2 Sekunden, wo der Bildschirm sich quasi gar nicht bewegt hat.Ich muss dazu sagen, dass meine Internetverbindung hier nicht die beste und schnellste ist, aber dennoch kann ich andere Spiele online ohne größere Probleme spielen. Kann also nicht alleine nur an meiner Internetverbindung liegen.

Yes, as with everyone who ordered this edition, I also did not receive my steelbook. It's a shame that this mess-up from Amazon (or whomever supplied the edition to them) is detracting from the pure excellence and quality of this game.The game is absolutely packed with content. There are so many levels and characters and collectables that both life-long Smash fans and newcomers can appreciate - something for everyone. The visuals and music are breathtaking and the Switch handles the game beautifully - even the intense 8 player battles! I highly recommend this game and look forward to spending hours unlocking all the characters and content.In terms of the steelbook, I recommend you contact Amazon customer service. My Amazon advisor apologised for the mistake and refunded me the cost of the steelbook, which can be purchased separately for £10.
