The ROP ShopNew Pair 2 Link TIRE Chains 13x5x6 for Garden Tractors/Riders/Snowblower

I attached these chains to a snowblower with 13x5 tires. The chains themselves are actually long enough for a larger diameter tire. I had to remove one section to get a proper fit (be sure to remove the end opposite of the closure section). The problem with this set of chains is that the closure consists of a twisted link of chain that is intended to be hooked around another link. Unfortunately, the design is a failure. The twisted link does not fit tight enough to keep the chains in place while the machine is in use. So, I cut the twisted link off of the chains and used the closure from my old set instead. That closure consists of a hook that fits around another link and a clip that closes over the hook with an additional safety wire. Other than that, the chains perform well.

Arrived 2 days after promised delivery. First chain out of the box fit great and took about 15 minutes to attach to tire. 2nd chain out of box was way too big and had to make several adjustments over near 2 hours to get it to stay on the tire once it was on the snowblower. Would not recommend these for you Toro snowblower with 13X5X6 tires.

Chains are pretty easy to install and were delivered promptly. Needed to use several zip ties to secure excess chain.

Doesn’t install correctly, just falls off

It was hard to install and came with no instructions. It also came off while I tested it in the snow. It still slips in the snow.

We put the chains 1 time when we were stuck! One of the chains literally broke apart!!! They are junk
