This is a wonderful detail brush. It has smooth fine hairs and comes with a protective cover. Great for making smooth lines and details with oils and acrylic. Great value! Works wonderfully

This line of Princeton brushes offers a great value for watercolorists. Holds plenty of water and offers good control for painting delicate branches, lettering and lines.

I like Prinston brushes but do not like how Amazon is now packaging them one may have a sleeve over the it taste bristles and the next will not have a plastic sleeve. They are shipped in a plastic bag which let's the bristles bend or get damaged. I spoke with Prinston and they say it is Amazon's way of packaging not the recommend way. So you may get a good brush or a damaged one.

I ordered two liner brushes at the same time, same size, even used the pull down menu and selected "2.". Two separate packages arrived, both brushes had the same item number on them, but one is a liner and the other one is small flat brush. Useless to me for the project I needed. The liner brush did have a protective plastic housing on the bristles so they were in good condition!In terms of the actual item, the one liner brush worked well the first time I used it this evening. It allows a thin even line to be painted just as I wanted.

I purchased this brush for watercolor fine line work. Especially with leaves. It is exactly what I had hoped. Holds just the right amount of water and fineness of lines is great!!

Works great for what I need it for. My only gripe is that it was sent unprotected (no little plastic tube or sleeve) with other items in the box, so a few bristles were bent. Could have been worse, but I still wasn't happy to see it shipped unprotected. Fine detail brushes like these need to stay pristine or the main purpose of them is rendered useless.
