A good start
I can somewhat agree with some of the reviews. This stick is a little stiff, but it's designed that way. It's metal for crying out loud. You can drive a car over the side with the buttons and it would still work. In the winter, it's a little cold on your lap but, again, it's metal. I've used it for fighting games and had very little difficulty adjusting to it's controls. It isn't really designed for RPG's, drivers, or shooters. It's well made, sturdy and dependable in my opinion. No. I do not work for a gaming company. haha Just an average couch potato gamer.

Awesome game pad, not for everyone though...
As a longtime, 40+ yr old gamer, I must say this Joystick pad has the authentic feel of an original arcade set up. Constructed well and very sturdy to handle the pulling and jamming necessary when using it. It does take a bit getting used to, but well worth the price and I also highly recommend it for some of the older games more than the newer ones as it was built for that purpose. All in all an awesome addition to any gamers collection. 4 out of 5 stars just because I wish the buttons were better highlighted to see which ones are which when using w/ the PlayStation.

Worst Arcade Stick Ever
The buttons are so big and far apart you think it was made for giants. The buttons also are flimsy and move down where youre pressing, not all down, just that part of the button youre pressing down on, so again its better for giants to play with, not people with normal sized hands. The body is very heavy, I dont know what they were thinking making it out of heavy material, must have cost a lot to ship these things.STAY AWAY! Not even worth $1.

Not a BAD choice, but...
Ok, it looks cool, and sounds awesome. But it ain't all-glitter as you might think it is.I mean, the chances are, this stick's clearly for fighting game lovers. But in fact, its flaws are more than a little "tiny glitch".For example, you have a high chance of having your buttons broken (one or two) within a matter of some months, depending on how often and how "hard" you play. That'll force you to manually re-assign buttons, which can be an annoying thing. (But fortunately, not a tough thing.)And then there're the pad's rubber supports. They wear out like a snap, and it might get off on your furniture, clothes, or even your skin. What's real ugly is how easily they slip after they do wear off. I have to wet the rubber parts every 10 minutes while I play on the pad, so it wouldn't slip off as much. Really, that's a toughie. But if you're a novice fighting gamer and you're not looking for anything too "professional", then this is good. The oversized buttons are easy to press and your hands are comfortable on their spots. And the stick isn't too shabby, either.I wouldn't say it's the best stick for diehard gamers, but I think it's very nice for the majority of fighting game players.

High Chance of Use but High Price Tag
- The arcade stick is a 'MUST HAVE' if you're into fighting games and sport games. I mean where's the arcade feeling if you just use your regular controller for everything. Althought the price tag is fairly high, I still recommend it to the people out there who enjoys action-based games.

Worst joystick ever.
I bought this stick because I am an avid gamer, mostly of the fighting genre. I attend tournaments regularly for Tekken Tag and Tekken 4 so I wanted to use a stick instead of a pad so I bought this one because of its cheap price (other sticks tend to cost $50+), but I made the wrong choice. The stick itself is set in a square recession which makes the diagonals harder to hit and the buttons are of the "nipple" type instead of the standard pushbutton fare. The stick also requires much farther movement in order to get it to register. This stick is also prone to break. I bought mine and played with it for 2 weeks and it broke. The stick stopped registering movement and several buttons ceased to work. I am very dissapointed in this stick. I would not recommend it to anyone. Even if you really need a stick, you should steer clear of this junk. Instead of this stick, I suggest that you should try out MASSystem sticks, Namco/Hori sticks, or the elusive Korean Stick. These sticks are the most common at tournaments because they are the best.
