It is very simple and didn't look like it would work that well, but we've had it a month and it completely blocks the water in our kitchen sink from splashing and soaking the wall immediately behind the sink. We don't even use the suction cups--it just stands there. (The suction cups are strong, we just don't need them.) It is longer than it looks: both ends can be pulled out to make it longer (not higher). There is a tiny gap under it when you do this, but no water ever gets under it. I would give it about 4.5 stars, but had to choose 4 or 5.

Leaks and ugly

This product saved my kitchen sink. I'm in a duplex 110 year old home and the water would always splash and get the counters and floor all wet. This protector fits perfectly and has prevented all of the splashing of the water getting out of the sink. Highly Recommend!

I have an open sink and water splashes onto the bar behind the faucet. This would have worked well if it had been taller. It prevents a little splashing, so I kept it. Wished it had been taller!

It doesn't require extra suction thing because it held well with two original rubbers.

I needed something for my standing shower so it would block the flow of water onto the floor. It works great, stays in place and is low enough that it's not crazy to get over.

So good.

This was a piece of crap in size and purpose!
