Gets on with the job quietly
My Fellows shredder died and my first thought was to replace it like for like. So pleased that I didn’t as this is better. Shreds the same but is so very much quieter that it was a shock.

You can spend days looking through all the options and reviews for a decent home shredder - I did. Don’t bother looking any further, this is the one. It’s quiet, doesn’t jam, it’s a nice size and great value for money. Job done.

The best shredder I have owned
Love this shredder because it's not noisy, it shreds into small pieces and will accept credit cards and several sheets. The only downside is removing the top when you want to empty it, it's just a heavy and leaves bits everywhere when emptying the bucket. Everything else is top notch.

You do need to give a lot of attention to cleaning the cutters.
It’s a great shredder - this is my second. The first one jammed up and no longer shreds . Does not particularly like small items like receipts which jam the shredders

Take the first three letters of Leitz (Lei) and the first two letters of Camera (ca) and you have the nameLEICA - makers of superb cameras and hopefully excellent shredders.

Good solid shredder
Seems to be a good, solid, well made unit. Does everything it needs to.

Poor build quality
Plastic blade separators snapped and jammed the blades, unit overheated and started to smoke. Returned and got a replacement which developed a sensor fault after 1 day and would not start, on inspection the QC label over the screws was replaced over an old on, this is a refurbished unit sold as new. Now returned the 2nd unit for a full refund. Amazon return was easy with no issues though
