This is probably our fifth purchase of this book, as we keep giving ours away! Perfect gift for any dog lover. The story of these dogs is heartwarming. We follow them on Instagram, as well, in order to keep up with their hilarious daily going-ons. Recommend highly!

I so enjoy Harlow and Sage on Facebook but I started following after Indiana and Reese made their debut. Now I know Sage and what a special weenie dog she is. The photos are awesome as anyone familiar with their FB page would expect. The story is funny, yet sad at times. I would love to have toddler grandchildren to read it to. But it is perfect for all humans who are owned by Dachshunds! I can’t wait to read Part 2!

This adorable photo essay is a tribute to the true nature of dogs. They are not posed in "artistic" poses with faux aspirations of fine art. They are simply themselves: dogs. The few images with props and hats were pure fun. The author honors their intelligence, their sense of fun, their ability to love, and their relationships with one another. The humorous captions add to the photos, but the photos make the book. Instead of making dogs props in the photos, the dogs are revealed as individuals with personalities and a joyful love of life. This book belongs in the library of every Weimaraner and Dachshund guardian, and all lovers of dogs. I look at this book when I want a spiritual lift and a laugh. My only concern was why a pup was adopted to be a new sibling for Harlow. I would have been happier to see a rescue dog.

I LAUGHED AND CRIED WHEN READING THIS BOOK IT WAS THE BEST BOOK I READ IN A LONG TIME SO CUTE AND WHEN THE PUPPY CAME I READ IT OVER AND OVER AND LAUGHED EVERY TIME I KEEP THIS BOOK ON MY COFFEE TABLE AND WHEN I FEEL DOWN I PICK IT UP AND READ IT AGAIN JUST TO MAKE ME FEEL GOOD I ALSO OWN TWO DACHSHUNDS AND SOME OF THE THINGS THAT HAPPEN I CAN SAY THAT'S A DACHSHUND FOR YOU. IT REALLY PUTS THE TRUTH IN OWNING A DACHSHUND

This book was very endearing and sweet. There were a few moments that had me tearing up. But not too many. I have been a dachshund lover all my life. I now have a wonderful, loving and funny little girl , Bella. She is the heart of our home. I can't imagine a day without her.

If the picture on the cover hasn't convinced you to buy already, then you're probably not gonna enjoy it.
