Good read
The ending was not what I expected. The story is insightful and the lovemaking scenes are vague. Somehow reading the book did not connect much with my imagination as I expected and it just did not give me a climax. However I liked the lesson.

Fast paced to a boring end
This book is frustrating it starts of well, but somewhere in Treasure's High school life the author loses the structure of the story. She starts taking the reader through all sorts of dark expressions of how she feels about being abused and taken advantage of. Throughout the book a reader is taken through gruesome scenes of sexual abuse and devastating consequences. Treasure the character gets convicted of her ways numerous times and she never takes responsibilty or action to make a change instead she keeps playing victim and leaving the reader confused on what she really wants.Jackie's book could have been a 5 especially because she writes so well and I appreciate the efforts to edit the book properly and I like that she used quotes from black people south african mainly that was so cool for me .Now because she never lands the story of Treasure I gave it a 2. It was just unacceptable to hang the reader like that.If you want to read on a blesser lifestyle game I recommend Angela Makholwa'sbook Blessed Girl she doesn't write as well as Jackie, but the story keeps it's structure and there is an ending.

A journey through the bling bling life!
The book reveals the so-called 'LG life (life is good) on social media by the slay queens. It reveals the pain they go through for their superficial success. Well written but a bit overdrawn narration. I will recommend it to all the young ladies out there longing for the bling life and overnight success.

Conveys the truth in a detailed yet easy to read manner.
Great novel that conveys truth of women’s rushed search for good life and the possible risks in post apartheid SA.

Hmmmmmmm
Quite an interesting & equally shameful story. It shows the bad side of money & also of instant gratuity. People want a comfortable & materialistic life now. They no longer invest in their future. What a shame. I hope most of the young generation see through this and do the right things

Brilliantly captivating and sad
The author is talented and knows how to tell a story. This is a sad account of Treasures life. Wishing young women wouldn't have to go through such for any reason at all.I wish I could find out more of where is she (Treasure) now...

Not a bad read
The book starts off very well, but it seems to go on fast forward with very little analysis, some themes are introduced but no expanded upon.

A good read
This is a heart breaking tale of a woman whose potential was dashed because she became a victim of her circumstances. All the women in the book are victims at the hands of the men they love. From Thato, Lebo to Treasure and even Daphney. It goes to show that not being content and being dependent on men can lead women to stay in toxic situations because they have no options.I read this book in two days. It was a good read. But the book falls short in addressing other characters... what happened with Bianca? I feel some details were omitted that would have made it a well rounded novel.
