This was a cute story, but the ending was VERY abrupt! I turned the page, and it was over. Thinking it had clicked twice, I went back a page to see what I missed. Nope. It just ended. It was like a slap in the face! (Well, the shock of the sudden ending. Not the story: I LIKED the story! Just wished it had ended better.)

My son loves this book so much that we got it for him on paper and he has been reading it by himself

This was a cute little story about two friends who have fun with their new magic carpet. Some of the dialog in the beginning seemed a bit off on wording but it works itaelf out.The colors are bright and bold my son liked the pictures a lot. The race with bird was fun as well. I just thought it ended kinda of odd. Butt all in all this was a very cute read

The author suggests this was written for ages 1 - 4. The text is in landscape mode so easy for the little ones to see.I thought that this story would encourage the children to be involved in that they could pretend they were along for the magical ride on the carpet.Ice cream for all to the winnner...that did make me smile!All in all, the illustrations are bright and colorful and the little ones will appreciate the magic. The dinosaur and the monster are the main characters, of course, and the carpet is magical...Highly recommended.

Brightly illustrated picture book for four to eight year olds that will surely be a hit with children who love dinosaurs and/or monsters. Dinosaur asks Monster to go for a walk, but Monster is determined to replace the worn out rug in his cave. Once Monster succeeds in paying for his choice, and the pair of friends begin walking home, a magical Fairy appears with a startling discovery. Turns out the new rug is actually a magic carpet. The adventure begins when the two friends decide to take it for a ride. Who will they meet and what challenges will need to be met?The book ends rather abruptly, leaving the reader expecting more. Text is large and easy to read, but younger readers may need some explanation from the adult reader. Recommended as a bedtime story or teacher read aloud, especially for ages four through six.

Ending was abrupt. This needed a more logical path from the store to the ice cream shop. Expand for a better reader experience.

Dinosaur wanted to play ball in this fun book that kids will like, but Monster wanted to go and buy a new carpet, so Dino joined Monster. Monster bought a carpet for a good price. Walking home, they encountered a fairy who told them that the rug was actually a magic carpet. The two got on the carpet which began to fly, and they had an adventure that will delight children.

Dinosaur wanted to play ball and monster wanted a new rug. They had a great day of shopping and stopped for a lemonade. A fairy came by and told them she thought it was a magic flying carpet. Was it? Where would They go? This is a brite, cheery, and easy to read book for small tikes. The easy words and bright colors make the book great for the beginning readers. I found this book on a website for free for an honest review.

I finally got around to reading this one with my daughter yesterday morning in bed before we went downstairs to start the day and she thought it was great!She liked the images and is a massive fan of dinosaurs and monsters with them being amongst the words she could say properly and I think that really helped with her enjoyment.The story was easy to read and follow and it had a nice flow to it. It is 3.5 stars from us for this one, rounded up to 4 stars for Goodreads and Amazon.

This is a good little book. It has great colourful illustrations and I think kids would enjoy looking at the pictures whilst hearing the tale.

My 4 year old gave it the 5 star rating! He loved the magic carpet and the race. It kept his interest throughout the whole book with the story line and the bright pictures. I would recommend it for preschoolers.

Short and sweet with cute illustrations perfect for someone learning to read my son enjoyed it but he said it was to short lol
