Fire witch series
Another great series by this author. Can't wait for more from this author. Keeps you in suspense in every book , and makes you feel what the characters feel.

favorite book of series!
I LOVE this book!! Of course, I love Tegan and Tennโs story, but there is something so relatable to Emersyn and Deacon. The fear of the power but still having it all. The desire to have a partner who simultaneously helps us own our power and helps us learn when to reign it in. The difference in class is shown phenomenally. I love everything about this book.

Awesome follow-up to the first coven books
I simply adore Chantelle LaVauns books. The characters are likable and have real personalities. The situations are fun, scary, and adventurous streaming easily from one situation to the next. She is a master at spinning tales and the reader is brought along easily. I love that there are no heart rendering cliff hangers- just continuation of the crazy paths the young witches tread. Seamlessly. Yes, I have a girl crush on this fabulous author.I read a few different genres and as far as fantasy goes Chantelle is one of my favorites. Easy to read and most of all; when you get to the END it isnโt disappointing like most. To many authors just crank out word salads without any consideration to the series. They keep going forever losing the feel of the original books and leaving the reader sad and depressed, not Chantelle at all.Her books are really good reads for YA and not over sexualized, but addresses relationships thoughtfully. Again I canโt praise her writing enough. I truly hope she never loses her magic touch.

Demons in Times Square
Deacon, the Devil card, is going home for a visit. Emerson, the High Priestess, is going with him to meet his parents. Sparks fly and it isn't magic this time. But when demons attack, Emerson steps up, saves Deacon's family (even though they were ignorant to her), and most of the other witches in Times Square (some of which were also extremely rude to her). It didn't matter who they are, when demons attack, Emerson will protect them with all her might!

Can't get enough of this world
A chapter into The Fire Witch and I remembered how much I love the writing in this series. Chandelle LaVaun's Coven world is so fascinating. It's creative and full of possibilities. The characters are wonderful and the friendships between them are strong. Those are just some of the reasons this has become one of my favorite series. After the events of the last book, this one slows the pace down a bit. This companion novel follows Emersyn and Deacon to New York. The two soulmates are slowly building their relationship now that Emersyn is ready to take a chance with him. However, his uppity family and scheming friends might drive a new wedge between them.I was annoyed with the petty and unkind behavior of Deacon's family and 'friends'- and moreover, I was disappointed that Deacon didn't step up for Emersyn sooner. But when he did, I couldn't help but forgive him. Deacon and Emersyn's love is much different than Tegan and Tennessee's. It's not as natural or instantaneous. D and Em have a lot of differences and a lot to learn about each other. But the way things are going, these two show a lot of promise and the love is definitely there.I loved the confidence Emersyn developed in this story, and I can't wait to continue reading in this world.

"The Fire Witch" is one HOT story
I am 100% addicted to "The Coven" Series & this book does not fail to feed that addiction. I am not what you would call a fast reader by any stretch of the imagination but, that being said, this book took a few hours to finish (as with all "The Coven" books).Chandelle LaVaun is my new favorite author. Reading this series is like watching TV, I see the stories and characters vividly as thier story unfolds and I will admit, that on more than one occasion, I may have shed a tear or 3.I just hope there are still more seasons in her since I am starting season 3 of "The Coven" now and will be sad when the journey is over.

WOW!!! I was pulled in from the beginning
WOW!!! I was pulled in from the beginning! Fabulous fantasy world, I absolutely love this series of books, the action starts straight away, and the characters are well defined early on and blossom throughout the series, you can feel the tension building between the main characters and each book always leaves you wanting more. The sub plots plus twists and turns keep you surprised and intrigued. Be warned though once you start reading this series you wonโt be able to put the books down so be prepared for some binge reading

LOVE this, but...
First off, I love this book SO MUCH! I loved seeing the other side of Deacon's life, and I'm seriously curious about what Heather's hangups with him are.The only problem is the spelling issues - there's words misused (passed instead of past, for example). With these fixed, the book goes from fantastic to epic!

The Fire witch
Really good book, finding out more about the characters and their families and just how important the Coven is. Rather snobby witches in New York who think they are the best but when demons land there it shows how much they don't know or how weak they really are, this is where the Coven come into their own and how powerful they really are, bit of an eye opener.

Awesome writing!
Read this, the last book of seven, enjoyed every minute. It"s like reading a CIG movie in so much that as you get more engrossed with story your mind starts to conjure up images of the scenes and characters your reading about just as a computer does on film, great stuff,
